Stage-4 ovarian cancer is presented when it involves distant organs besides being invasive nearby organs. Usual management is surgery to remove the affected tissue and subsequent administration of chemotherapy if there are remaining cancer cells. Others that have been developed but not extensively sought are targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. However, there are signs of sunshine yet, as long as prognosis is made based on patient’s general health and the outcome of the treatment, people with the disease can benefit from early detection and inclined medical treatment.
